Hi Everyone, it has been a while since
my last update again. I am a bit stuck
on what should be a simple problem.
Revising the information we have
gathered to date.
This is the Wave we need:
In this Wave configuration we have one
wave over the top of the other. It is
not cancelling the wave of the other
Wave but is in fact stopping the
Magnetic field from ever going negitave.
Sounds like it should be simple to
achieve this wave. I can say it is not
as easy as is looks. I have rebuilt
Medusa and tried to make it simpler and
smaller in design. I did have the last
version of Medusa pulsing with some nice
high amperage sine waves. I was getting
400 Amps @ 112 Volts but it was not
stable and IGBT's blew due to several
reasons. In an effort to make Medusa
more stable and most importantly
reliable and safe it has become a bit
more complicated even though I wanted to
make it more simple.
I was researching the IGBT Driver design
on the net and came across this
document:
IGBT-Driver
design.pdf
I have tried to make this concept work
but had issues partly due t o bad design
on my part and a few unexpected
problems. I think my idea with High
Power IGBT's may not have been the best
road to go down now and High Power
Mosfetts may have been better. I have
spent a lot of money on IGBT's and will
continue with this idea at the moment.
We all know the old saying "Practice
makes perfect".
So far the below Pictures are what I
have got. The Driver circuit is working
but not yet 100% right. I need some
extra work on it yet.
A few other things to think about are
the Magnetic field Flux Modulations.
Several Concepts are here all in line
with the Motional E-Field from Mr Sweet
and Mr Hooper. I think this first
Animation is the way we want the Flux
Modulation to work in the SQM. The Flux
is directed into the coil in a the
motion of the V x B Field or better
known as The Motional E-Field.
The below Animation is also a
possibility but I think is much less
likely.
Unlike the original Animation I put up
on the SQM Theory Page:
SQM_Theory.htm
I now believe the Motion of the E-Field
is in a different direction from the
current conventional method of Using the
Magnetic Flux of a Magnet. Check out the

In the last few months, I have tried to
get professional help from several
Electronics Engineers and Experts in the
field. I have had help from many people
from the web and it is excellent help
but the putting the advise into practice
is not always easy.
I want to thank
Dave from
ctglabs.com
and Mike for their excellent advise and
technical information to get me to the
stage I am at now.
I must apologise about being so long
between Updates in the last few months.
I have been very busy with work and all,
like everyone is these days. I also have
been a bit short on cash so these things
do take a bit of time in these
situations. I will do my best to get
these updates up faster and more
frequent for you all.
