This experiment is an
attempt to replicate the
conditioning process in
the Tom Bearden Video.
This is to verify the
validity of the
explanations of the
conditioning procedure
from the information
contained in the video.
The Bearden/Sweet video
consisted of:
Two coils, One large
conditioning coil seen
in the picture on the
right, and one smaller
coil that is inside the
larger coil that sits at
the bottom (no# 15 gauge
4 Ohms). The smaller
coil that sits at the
bottom of the larger
coil is powered by a
wave tech oscillator
through a 100 watt audio
amplifier. An SCR that
is triggered by a Variac
that powers the Larger
conditioning coil with a
1600uf DC Capacitor (RC
Time constant is
triggering the capacitor
with the variac. (T = R
x C)( T= 60 Hz). There
is a rectifier that
seems to be used to
change from AC current
to DC current. There
does not seem to be any
current smoothing
circuitry.
T = R x C
1/60 of a second =
16.6666667 milliseconds
(60 Hz)
Capacitance = 1600 uf
Resistance = 1.4166
Ohms
General conditioning
procedure in the video:
The procedure is as
follows. The magnet is
placed on top of the
conditioning coil and
bought into resonance by
the small coil at the
bottom of the large
coil. This is done by
tuning the Wave Tech
oscillator down to
between 8 Hz and 13 Hz.
Then the 60 Hz is bought
up to full power to the
Conditioning coil. The
same is done with the
second magnet. The ends
are marked and kept in
line with the earths
magnetic field. The
magnets are then placed
together on the holder (Aluminum
rectangular tube with
two inches gap to keep
the magnets apart ) in
attraction mode with the
ends in the same
direction when they were
marked. The magnets are
then placed in side the
large conditioning coil
at right angles to the
magnetic field and again
in line with the earths
magnetic field. The
small resonant coil is
still at the approximate
13Hz resonance and again
the conditioning coil is
bought up to full power
at 60 Hz. In a nut shell
that's it.
The smaller coil on the
inside of the big coil
is not giving off enough
Magnetic field to get
the magnet on top of the
large coil in resonance.
My magnets are slightly
thicker and the Magnets
field strength is too
strong to let the
resonant coil have an
effect. The current size
of the wire is 1.5 mm
and it might be to big
for the Amplifier to
give it the correct wave
form efficiently. A new
roll of no# 15 gauge
wire will be purchased
this week and wound on
to the spool. The
Impendence is a bit low
also. 3.2 Ohms and Floyd
mentions in the video
that it is supposed to
be 4 Ohms. The large
coil is pulsing nicely.
I currently have a step
down transformer with an
output at 120 Volts 60
Hz pulsing into the
Large coil. The wave
form is not yet what I
am wanting to achieve.
My basic circuit needs
some improvements. The
size of the wire on the
large coil is currently
1.5mm and measures 1
Ohm. I am currently
thinking this coil might
need to be Bifilar
instead of just the
single filer coil I
currently have. I am
currently testing field
strength versus wire
size and impedance.
More work will be done
tomorrow and Pictures
will be posted.
Today I built several
capacitor banks and
tested further the coil
discharge with the (R x
C = T) RC Time constant.
I am having problems
getting the waveform
correct to the large
conditioning coil. I
will have to sort
further help with the
circuit. It may be the
capacitors or even the
SCR not switching
properly. More testing
to come on this small
problem soon. I will be
getting a variac this
week also to regulate
voltage better to the
input.
This morning I spoke to
Mr Walt Rosenthal. Mr
Rosenthal helped Floyd
with the SQM by building
circuits and helping out
when Floyd needed it. I
asked a few questions
about the SQM and the
conditioning of the
magnets. Mr Rosenthal
will, from time to time,
check in on the project
and will offer advice
about the progress and
offer insight to the
project. The below is
the email that Mr
Rosenthal and I
exchanged.
Dear Chris:
The pulse to the
conditioning coil was
the single discharge of
a capacitor affected by
using a large SCR that
was triggered at the
zero crossing of the
sine wave being supplied
to the output coils
placed between the
magnets.
The output coils were
bifilar wound.
Walt
I finished the winding
of the resonant coil
today also. The weight
of the resonant coil is
5.4 Kg it is 1.4 gauge
enamelled wire with a
resistance of 4.1 ohms.
Winding this sized wire
by hand and when it is
this sort of weight was
under estimated in time
and blisters on my
hands.
Today I attempted to get
resonance in the magnets
at the top of the
Conditioning coil.
Resonance can easily be
achieved on top of the
resonant coil but the
magnetic field strength
of the resonant coil is
not strong enough to
bring the magnet into
resonance at the top of
the conditioning coil.
More power will be
needed to get resonance.
We have our first video
update today also. Now
experiments are starting
to get further into the
swing more information
will be provided in
Video update format.
Today I purchased a new
Audio generator after
suspecting a frequency
range limitation with
the Troneer Audio
generator. The Troneer
Oscillator starts at 10
Hz. The new Instek
Oscillator starts at 0.3
Hz. I have got the same
resonant frequency range
as Mr Floyd "Sparky"
Sweet. At roughly 8.5 Hz
the magnet goes into
resonance. This is
fantastic news and is a
wake call to myself that
nothing is written in
stone. I will post a new
video update this
weekend. Tomorrow at
lunch time I will go
down to get an Iron core
turned up for the centre
of the resonant coil. We
are slowly getting the
same setup as Floyd had
in the video. I see a
lot of hard work ahead
and a time consuming set
of procedures that need
to be checked and double
checked to get this
experiment right.
Communications with Mr
Walt Rosenthal are
giving more of an idea
on Floyds thoughts when
he was where we are now.

it works.
I sent an email to Mr
John Bedini this week
after reading this text
from a forum:
I worked with Floyd
Sweet in the early days
before Bearden and Walt
R came along, I gave him
old TV sets to watch the
cycloids on for
his first machine. I
know what I have seen
because I wound the
coils for his box. Kron
sent Sweet to get a
masters in mathematics
at GE. Sweet was a real
electro magnetic
engineer, by the book he
knew Kron's math
backwards and forwards.
He threw the book at me
a few times. Bearden
presented him with the
Vacuum Triode analogy
and the math for it. I
also knew the process of
his box, there were no
magnetic bubbles, no
magic magnets, and no
special conditioners
that will make the box
work, but there was a
special process of which
Sweet's own son did not
know, he was an EE and
could not understand how
it worked. I know
because I was there
helping him at night. My
old boss gave him the
test equipment to use.
Walt R built the
circuits for Sweet but I
don't think Floyd Sweet
told him the process.
That's why I put the
negative resistance
papers here. The only
problem is the box was
unstable under certain
conditions, shock,
shorts, and other
things. He kicked me out
when I showed him the
monopole and the G-
Field charging batteries
with no real current. I
was to close to making
it work every time. I
was told later he
thought I was going to
build his box. I kept
that secret and studied
negative effects in
semiconductor lattice
with inductive loads
instead only because I
was trained in
semiconductors at TRW
right out of school. I
found what I was looking
for, and I hope you do
too.
In the last 8 days I
have changed a few
things to try to get as
close to the video as
possible. Much of my
work is guess work and
frustration is common
with failure. I have had
no success with the
resonant coil at the
bottom of the
Conditioning coil. The
magnetic field strength
is just not enough to
bring the magnets into
resonance while the
magnets are on top of
the Conditioning coil. I
started work on the 60
Hz oscillations in the
Conditioning coil again
and at certain power
levels the circuit stops
and the transistors
fuse. After fusing
several tens of
transistors I sat back
and thought about the
approach I was taking.
May be instead of trying
to trigger the
Conditioning coil via an
Audio Oscillator, it
would be better to use
the Coil and SCR in an
oscillating circuit of
their own (SCR
Oscillator). This
circuit would also solve
the problem of the
Resonant coils field
strength not being
sufficient to bring the
magnets into resonance
at the top of the
Conditioning coil
because the starting
voltage and frequency of
the Conditioning coil
would be the same as the
Resonant coil, exactly
like the video. For
example the input
Voltage of say 40 Volts
to the Conditioning coil
would give this circuit
a frequency of around
the 8.5 Hz of the
resonating Magnet.
Sitting back now this
approach seems so
simple. The field
strength of the Resonant
coil is still in
question while the
magnets are inside the
Conditioning coil. Will
the field strength be
sufficient to open the
molecular structure of
atoms inside the domains
themselves.
Progress has been made.
I got some Alloy tube
this week to replace the
PVC holder for the
magnets. They measure
100mm x 150mm x 50mm and
fit exactly to the
magnets. I will put some
pictures up tomorrow.
With the information I
have learned after these
experiments I expect to
have a full video
demonstration of the
first attempt at
conditioning the magnets
in two weeks time. This
is as long as everything
goes well and I don't
blowup anymore hardware.
I have received a lot of
very good feed back.
Suggestions like the
Alloy tube that may have
eddy current effects, to
Coil structure and
Circuit information.

I have blown another
Thyristor and that was
the last 700 PE 160 I
had. I have purchased
some new 1700 PK 160's.
These Thyristors are
rated at 1700 Amps and
1600 Volts.
I thought I had a
reasonable knowledge of
electronics. In the past
few weeks I have learnt
a lot about high voltage
and discharging into
small coils at
repetitive rates. I
still have a lot to
learn. Low voltage
electrical experiments
are easy but everything
changes when the voltage
increases. I now have
the second Conditioning
coil built. The
resistance of the coil
is 11.1 Ohms, the coil
has 800 turns of 0.9
gauge enamelled wire. The
Capacitor is still
1500uf . This makes the
R x C time (T = R x C)
constant calculation
11.1 x 1500 = 16.66
milliseconds (60 Hz).
This is the same as the
video, the small
difference being the
capacitor was 1600uf in
the video. I will be
using a 1600uf Capacitor
as soon as I can get one
that is rated with the
right voltage.
Not using any names here
but I just want to say
thank you to a very
special person that has
helped me a lot. Thanks
to the help I have
received from this
person, it has not only
saved me money but it
has also saved me time.

Today after a few weeks
of things not really
going to well things
fell into place. The
Conditioning coils pulse
is almost spot on and
the resonance in the
magnet on top of the
conditioning coil is
looking to be bought in
alignment with the
Resonant coil at the
bottom of the
conditioning. I have
included a video update
today as well since
everything is working
quite well.
Well after such a good
series of tests last
weekend this weekend has
presented a partly
expected problem. The
Thyristor is latching.
In other words it is
staying on when the
power is turned up. The
thyristor is still doing
its job and when it is
pulsing it is pulsing
nicely but when the
power gets turned up it
latches and that's not
what we want. Back to
the drawing board with
this circuit and look at
an alternative.
I am going to look at
the video again and see
if there is something in
there I am missing. I am
looking at another
circuit called a SCR
Oscillator Circuit. A
thought, Triacs trigger
on the zero crossing...
More good news, I have
got resonance on top of
the big conditioning
coil now after
purchasing a 15 cell car
battery. More power to
the amp has increased
the field slightly but
it is still not as
strong as Mr Sweet had
it in the video. I am
going to put this down
to magnet depth and
better production of the
magnets now with higher
field strengths.
I am still close to the
first attempt of
conditioning the magnets
but a few small things I
am not yet happy with:
1/ Time to discharge the
capacitor is still
causing the
SCR/Thyristor to latch.
I am still thinking my
direction here may not
be right. I have briefly
tested the SCR
oscillator circuit with
no success. This is what
I need. Capacitor to
discharge and to turn
off the SCR with back
EMF. This could be a
single discharge of the
capacitor but is more
likely to be a discharge
in oscillations other
wise this does not
explain the bulb in the
video oscillating in
brightness.
2/ Increase if possible
the resonance affect at
the top of the large
coil, the blade is
waving or oscillating
but is is fairly lightly
oscillating.
There is a bit of a
delicate balance in this
setup for the
conditioning. Tuning and
adjusting after time
will give the desired
results here and I hope
we get the results with
the magnets after this
is all done. I am
thinking more and more
that it will. I found
these quite good
articles about magnets
also there is some
mentions of
instabilities of the
magnets and that's what
I think we are going
after.

interesting is the
amount of pages on the
net that have been taken
down when you search for
"Spin wave
instability magnon

this phenomena.
Today proved to be a
very important day in
the SQM Replication
project. I added another
coil to the conditioning
coil to try to get the
resonance in the magnets
and also used the
Resonance coil at the
bottom of the
Conditioning Coil. This
works really well.
Another surprise is the
pulsing of the
Conditioning coil in
conjunction with this
new coil pulsing is
switching the
conditioning coil with
no latching. I am
getting much closer to
the desired results.
Something I have noticed
today is that the video
camera has some
interference from the
coils pulsing. This is
very interesting because
this has never happened
before now. I wonder if
it is a sign. I had to
redo the video because
the video was jittery.
Some of the effects of
the waving of the blade
(Magnets Resonance) has
not come up as well as I
would have liked. There
is much more of a
resonance effect than
what is shown in the
video.

This was the update on
the 11-04-05. This is
what I was thinking
about through the week
and I have got to the
point now where I am
questioning everything.
All in all this week we
have achieved a few more
goals and next week we
will achieve some more.
The more I think about
this project, and it is
on my mind 24/7, I
really think this is
going to work. It might
be to early to make a
big call like that but
it is a gut feeling.
Zero crossing of the
pulsing trigger and the
possibility of an oven
as Mr Bedini said may
just be enough to make
the SQM work again.
I have been working on a
bit of a movie for the
SQM replication also.
Tests on the magnets
with the conditioning
setup have now started.
The setup is very close
to the video and I
believe the electro
magnetic fields are the
same as in the video. I
am currently having no
problems with the
pulsing of the
Conditioning coils of
Resonant coils. I have
my clock ticking and
will be interested in
how long it takes before
a result is known. I
will hopefully have
video posted in the next
few days.
You have to listen to
this. Mr John Searle
claims to have a
oscillating magnetic
field in a metal object
or a magnet. This is the
most important
information if it is
true in all our
existence of scientific
history. This is an
extremely important
discovery that will
change our lives for
ever.
Hi Everyone, Experiments
are still continuing. No
results are known yet
but I am thinking there
is an extra component
that is needed. Heat,
like Mr Bedini, and Mr
Bearden said. I thought
an extra component would
be needed but just
wanted to satisfy myself
that the Video it not
entirely correct in "The
way the conditioning is
done".
I will be looking at
heat treatment of the
magnets to get the
Oscillations we are
after. Atomic
Oscillations are known
and we will get this
achieved, we must. The
reason why this is so
extremely important is
in the video provided on
the right hand side.
We have polluted our
Planet for over a
hundred years and when
we realize we need to
stop it will take a
thousand years to clean
it up. This is not the
burden I want to leave
to our next generation.
We cant have our
Children clean up after
us. Weather patterns
have changed drastically
over the last twenty
years and if this is not
enough of a sign then
what is.
Today's Update is big.
This is the first video
update of the
conditioning attempt of
the magnets. The attempt
is as close to the video
as possible, with an
explanation as to the
procedure from the
video, and my procedure.
Although I have no
output voltage or
Current yet, there
appears to be a
oscillation from the
magnets with the scope
probes on the magnets. I
realize this most likely
doesn't mean the magnets
themselves are
oscillating. The
Oscilloscope will
produce a sine wave
output when the probe is
placed on most solid
materials on low
settings. For example a
lump of Alloy will give
off a sine wave if the
probe is affixed to it
or even your hand if you
touch it. I need to
investigate this
further, as I am not
over looking anything.
One magnet appears to be
oscillating more than
the other. There are
also some Documents I
have been sent by some
very kind people. The
documents are attached
in the Update page on
the side.
On a skeptic note. It is
most probably a
coincidence but a
military Helicopter,
after I shot the Video,
came down from the north
and did three circles
around my general
area... then left again.
We do get a lot of
choppers around here but
not normally military. I
just had to take a
picture and post it
also.
The really good thing is
that I now have and can
increase the discharge
voltage to the capacitor
at more than 200 Volts
with no problems at the
desired frequency. Sorry

I have today received an

used even though the

BaFe magnets. Buyer
beware...
I have another supplier
that is advertising BaFe.
Can it only be confirmed
by testing the magnets,
I suppose.
This weekend I thought
about what is really
needed for the magnets
to have their structure
changed by the
conditioning process. I
tried a few things. I
heated the magnets to
200 Degrees Celsius (170
Deg Celsius is safer,
sometimes the magnets
will crack and break if
heated too much) and
used much higher values
of capacitors. 21500uf
at 200 Volts was
discharged into the
Conditioning Coil. Some
math is included in this
weekends update also
which makes some sense
of why last weekends
Conditioning attempt
failed to achieve any
results.
Some good information
came from this weekends
experiments and I think
already more information
has been learned in the
past three months than a
whole year of research
into the SQM.

After several months of
thought about my
experiments a solid
theory has evolved and
it is getting exciting
to know that this is
where everything is
sitting in place very
well.
Well in all the time I
have been experimenting
and trying to replicate
the SQM I have not yet
had so much FUN. I have
magnetized one of the
Isotropic Magnets I have
just received from
China. This is fantastic
fun to see something so
simple make such a big
change to a solid block
of BaFe. The magnets are
exactly what I was after
when I ordered them.
Easy to magnetize and
piece of cake to do what
I wanted to do with
them. They are a good
size and strong enough
to be magnetized in all
directions easily.
Building the Magnetizing
circuits and fixtures
took some time but was
fun also. All in all
this weekend was fun and
a success.
Posted today is what I
think is pretty close to
the original
conditioning circuit. It
ties in to the VTA or
SQM conditioning really
well. Everything fits
nicely with the 19-08-05
update well. I would
like someone to run a
simulation on this
circuit that has a full
copy of TopSpice v7 and
send me the results back
so they can be posted.
It is a great
application but to
expensive.
Magnetising the magnets
is still on going at the
moment. I am checking
the field lines and
making sure I can get
the magnets as close to
professional field
patterns as possible. I
have only magnetised two
of the magnets and will
only be working on two
until I am confident the
field patterns are
right.
Hi Everyone, I have
looked at a bit of a
different path over the
past few weeks for the
SQM. I have not updated
this information to the
SQM page because it is
along totally different
line from the current
project and I don't want
to throw a spanner in
the works. I will be
continuing the current
path and the path of the
original project and
updates will be posted
on the project soon but
I may be starting a
different page for what
I am doing with the SQM
with a few different
ways and ideas. I have
ordered some high Power
IGBT's to control the
pulses better. I had a
circuit nearly exactly
the same as in the video
with Mr Sweet but the
pulses are not very
strong at all.
Magnetising the magnets,
I have learnt a lot. It
is interesting to note
that the way I have done
it with coreless
magnetising coils that
the lower resistance of
the coil the better the
magnetising (More even
field lines and stronger
magnetic field). If you
need to magnetise
magnets use a large wire
gauge and try to make
the resistance about 1-2
Ohms. This does not
saturate the magnets.
I thought I would go one
step further from
yesterdays update.
Reading the literature
Mr Bearden and Mr Bedini
have said all along that
Mr Sweet had changed the
"SQM mid stream". What I
am looking at now is
what did Mr Sweet change
from. He was getting 6
watts out according to
the documentation on Mr
Bearden's site, but the
question is how much
input was needed for the
6 Watts out? There the
SQM must have changed
because the 6 Watts very
quickly turned into 500
Watts. I am getting some
hardware made up so this
weekend I will post some
more information about
what I am trying to do.
The old saying
"sometimes we need to
take a step backward to
move forward".
Oh the IGBT's I have
ordered are 1200V 600Amp
FZ600R12KS4. SCR's are
to difficult to control
for what we are trying
to do so I thought we
needed to look at a
better switching method
to really achieve any
results. I am sure the
conditioning is still
needed but I do think a
small output can be
achieved with out the
conditioning.

Well the ideas I had
were not successful and
this is very important
in the SQM's progress.
This either means the
SQM had a secret
configuration before the
successful reported
conditioning of the
magnets or the magnets
were in oscillation
before the reported
time. This contradicts
all information in the
SQM's history which is
big in itsself. I mean
really Where is the
energy coming from? It
is not from the magnets
as such or the original
SQM would have had a
configuration that was
fairly conventional and
a small output would be
achieved (Say 6 watts
like the original SQM).
Simply information is
not adding up on this
project and some answers
are needed. I think a
few misleading truths
have been told in the
history of the SQM which
is a shame. AND REALLY
WHAT IS THE MOTIONAL
E-FIELD???? It is
obviously very important
or it wouldn't be in the
"Nothing is Something"
Paper by Mr Sweet.

frustrated reading back

get a better idea of the
Fields inside the SQM. I
have been looking into
the Hooper Moinstein
Experiment which gives a
brilliant way to show
the E-Field does exist
from the magnet as we
already know.

am now at the point
where I think we have

E T Whittaker the 1903
document is a bit hard
to find and read easily
from the internet. The
1904 document is easy
but I wanted them both
together for reading
purposes.
Medusa has taught me a
few things in its
evolution. I have
thought about the device
and what I was trying to
achieve and it dawned on
me, "It is getting too
complex". Coming back to
basics, I thought well
Floyd was a transformer
expert so what if he was
able to do what he did
with a few Transformers?
Today I have reposted
data from the net but
collated it all into a
calendar of events to
try to bring together
all the good information
about the SQM. This is
what I have collected
after several years of
Research and close study
I can nearly say all
this information is all
correct. I hope to have
an update very soon with
the latest experiments I
have done. I am having a
very good run with
experiments so far and
everything is working
the way I want it to. I
must say I have probably
watched the Sweet
Bearden video nearly
10,000 times now. ;O) I
am sure I know what
needs to be done to make
the SQM Work again but I
just need to set up the
Conditioning circuit
right.
I have got the
Conditioning circuit
running with all the
right parameters I need
to condition the
Magnets. I may need to
increase the capacitor
voltage a bit more to
achieve the desired
results. A video Update
is available today. It
is high res and I am
sure you will be
impressed with this
effort.
Just a small update
today. This is just to
let you know I have got
the voltage where I want
it for the conditioning
and explains the Wave I
am now using which is so
important to be able to
achieve the goal of
replicating the SQM.
Detailed diagrams,
pictures, and video will
be posted as often as
posible.
Public feed back is
encouraged and input
will be added to the
experiments as time goes
on.
