Experiment No#1:

The most important experiment I have performed. With the Schematics we have been looking at we can see that there is, with no doubt, that if these circuits are correctly calculated, they will work. Looking at Faradays Law of Induction the Equation is:

The symbol Φ (Phi) is from the Greek Alphabet. We use this symbol to represent the Magnetic Flux in calculations. Click Here. An example can be shown which I have used from the MIT 802 Lectures, lecture 17.

= a B ω sin ωt = EMF(t).

a is the area of B, Magnetic Flux Density, in where a conductor is placed and (ω sin ωt) Represents the Time rate of change part of the equation, thus giving us a sine wave at the time rate of change.

A loop of wire is rotated in the Earth's Magnetic Field. There are 42 Turns in the loop. The Earth's Magnetic field was measured at 5 10-5 Tesla. A, the Area is, a radius of 30cm, gives us πR2, 0.28 in sq Meters. Reference Click Here.

N = 42.

A = πR2

B = 5 10-5 T

Period = 1s - ω = 2π = 6 Radians/s

EMF(t) = 42 x 0.28 x 5 10-5 x 6 sin 6t

EMF(t) = 3.5 milli-Volts sin 6t

 

Experiment No#2:
